Snowed InIt took three days of snow flurries to cover the front door.  By the fourth day we could no longer see the streetlamp in front of the house poking through the mass of white.  The weatherman said to stay inside.  The weatherman said that everywhere was covered in snow just like we were.  Like it was the next ice age or something.  I wanted to jump out my bedroom window to see how far I could sink in the snow.  I wanted to know if I could swim in it like water, or drown in it like quicksand, or just make holes in it like when you put your finger in play dough.  Mom said I cou Snowed In

CLEP exam?

So has anyone ever taken one? It looks like my school wont let me go backwards with my french and theres no hope of me passing a 4000 level class, but I suppose this would get me credit for it anyway so I could still get my minor. Dont know if I remember enough to pass it, but I'd study for it...anyways, I was excited. Just wanted to see if anyone had done this before because I'm confused.

Oh, and I got an A- in my drawing class. I really want to post my final drawing with me screaming because it looks awesome, but Lizzy left for Ireland and obviously took her camera with her. Sad, I know.

yes, somethings cant be.. plans to ask for scanner for bday! but yes, i am working on them...they are blurry because i messed up my right hand, so i tried both hands, neither worked better, i cant use half of my right hand now

19, I'm in my sophmore year of college and finals are coming up. I think I'm trying for the literary magazine at my school, although I've got to get my submission in by the fifteenth. I'm just going to revamp something. The last issue was horrible, so about half of my creative writing class is all submitting in hopes that someone will get something in. We cant make it worse. What I really want to start is a novel though, or at least finish the one I've started...I have to chop out a giant chunk of it though I think in order to continue which is frightening, but necessary. First I've got to pass everything though. We've got the HOPE scholarship in GA which bascially pays for tuition if you keep your GPA above a 3.0, but if it goes below its gone and it takes 60 hours I think to earn it back...work work work...but I've finished my essay, and am feeling much more optomistic about life. Hehe...I seem to have a half written story to finish, and I've got to turn in four pages of something tomorrow, so back to work!

so don't make it aspiring. I take the hint that you are either late teens or early 20's. If you are still in highschool this is the time to make a mark. There are tons of writing contests out there that are only available to freshman through senior high school and not available to anybody else. I know I seen a whole listing on the web somewhere but I don't think I have it marked in my favorites. I really need to organize that part of the computer yet. Anyway just freelance writing high school..google it. If a contest costs money to join, ignore it, check for actual paying or trading outlets..make a list of magazines that you like to read then look them up online a lot of them have submission qualifications.

I know easier said than done...

And while I'm at it, thank you so much for responding. It made me feel a whole hell of a lot better knowing that people actually care, I think thats the only reason the breakup got to me. I was being ignored. I love coming on this site cause at least I can find people that care. I know I dont have most of my watchers because they were completely wowed by my writings, they're all my friends I love having them around. Plus every once in a while you can find others that are really good people, and try even though they havent known you long. So thanks...I know I ramble, but I just wanted you to know that I really did mean it when I said thanks earlier. Its been a long week...

I'm trying...only problem is that I'm trying to write a french paper at the same time. I cant seem to write in French with the music on, but with it off I cant stop thinking...its been a bad week...but hey, cant get any worse. At least I'm not starting this next one with a funeral!

thanks, I'm not crying because of the breakup though, I swear. Thanks for your words of wisdom though, your right. He wasnt even considerate enough to call me to end it. I'm crying cause half my family seems to be hospitalized, diseased, or dying at the present moment and theres not much I can do about it...I watched this all week, and I've got to tell you its a bit unnerving. I just want the doctors to take all the tubes out of everyone, and people to stop getting cancer. People really, really need to stop with the cancer thing.
